Many say that flight schools are dime-a-dozen and youth related flight academies exist all throughout the United States.
However, the thing that differentiates our program is our life skills component. The reality is that a person can go through our entire educational system all the way up to the level of a master's degree or P.H.D and never ever learn how to manage money. As a result we have many people who are academically educated but who cannot survive in the real world because they lack the proper skills to manage their money, manage their lives, manage their own "economy" and successfully negotiate the difficulties of life.
We don't only prepare youth for careers in Aviation, but give them team building skills, public speaking skills, crisis management skills and planning skills. In addition, they receive leadership training and military-type discipline. In essence, we not only prepare these youth for a great career, but we prepare them for a great LIFE!
Aviation is a vastly complex field and for those interested in exploring it you must learn the basics. We teach the 4 forces of flight, how the instruments in a plane works and what their readings mean — as well as how to use both the readings from your instruments and visual reference outside the plane to fly.
Teamwork is absolutely critical in the field of aviation. Everyone has an essential role to play and it's necessary for teens to learn that no one job is bigger than another. As the saying goes: Together Everyone Achieves More!
Leadership skills are key qualities and abilities that allow teens to efficiently and meet & exceed their goals. The skills of a leader include great interpersonal skills, effective communication, strategic thinking, negotiation, conflict resolution, and similar. Teens learn this and more at Super Star Aviation & Life Skills Academy.
Learning to effectively lead yourself & others all comes down to discipline. Success, and fulfillment stem from focus and self-control. The studies show that people with self-discipline are happier. We encourage teens to exercise discipline and self-control and they'll actually accomplish more of the goals they truly care about.
